Congratulations!! Thank you SO much to everyone who entered my very first giveaway. I had so much fun meeting new followers and getting to visit and follow your new blogs as well. :)
I've been working allll week on my Valentine's Day themed graphic organizer pack for reading. Yesterday, I posted a freebie as a preview of this pack of 10 reading organizers. Below is a picture of all the pages you will get in this pack. You can find it on my TPT store! I'm excited because this is the first "big" item I'm putting in my store.

Today I did a lesson evaluation for my student teacher. (She did awesome by the way! :) We are one lucky second grade class to have her in our room.) I'm giving this pack of comprehension graphic organizers away for *free* to first 2 people who post a comment that tells us what one piece of advice you would give to a student teacher that you wish someone would have given you at the time. (I'm just curious :) Don't forget to leave your e-mail address in order for your comment to count.
Thanks again for visiting!
Happy Learning,

Gee, I had an awesome cooperating teacher. It has been 19 years ago since I did my student teaching. I would learn all I can about doing center rotations in the classroom! Good luck!

I had 3 great student teaching experiences and my advice would be get involved! Join committees and get involved in the community. Thinking about today I would say be up on the new common core standards and RtI.

Thank you ladies! Both great advice!! :) I just e-mailed your Valentine's organizers pack. Hope you enjoy! :)
Great looking organizers! My piece of advice is to try to observe other classes and grade levels if possible, not just yours. My cooperating teacher encouraged me to do so and it helped with gradual control back to her as well as allowing me to observe some great teachers and grades I had never worked in before!
